As a 51-year Ken Lake resident, former LCC President and Board Chairman, top level state administrator, city manager, chief financial officer, public works director, and national consultant to management, I desire to once again volunteer my skills and talents as an LCC Board member toward transforming Ken Lake into a regionally renown premier residential community. My mission would be to help create and maintain the conditions necessary so that each of us, whether young, middle age, or elderly, may fully recreate and socialize together as well as actively participate, enthusiastically support, and genuinely take pride in upgrading the assets, activities and governance of our unique family-oriented community. Many of you may know me from my frequent walks around the neighborhood. As the child of military parents (who later served myself as well), I spent formative years in the Bavarian region of Germany, and the environment here puts me in mind of my time there. I have an interest in maintaining and preserving nature, and enabling community togetherness. I would appreciate your vote to help me foster that in Ken Lake.

We realize how fortunate we are to live for over 20 years in such a beautiful setting that has been preserved and enhanced through the efforts of many volunteer hours spent by the board and community members. I would like to be considered for a position on the board so that I can continue the work, making Ken Lake the envy of my friends. As a board member, I value transparency, honesty, communication, consistency, and fairness to name a few of the characteristics that make any board successful. My 30-year career as a school administrator has given me the background to understand the operation side as well as dealing with the public in positive ways. Your support would be appreciated.
